We thoroughly enjoyed staying at your property for our Anniversary! The unit was very clean, well stocked, and we were able to check in hours in advance which was a plus! The only downside is the wood steps front and back are very worn and old so make sure you keep flip flops on so you do not get a splinter. Some units have updated their porches front and back so hopefully this unit will do the same soon. We would stay here again either way!

The property was very clean and well maintained, pleasantly decorated, well-stocked kitchen with supplies. There was a pleasant atmosphere at 300 Ocean Mile. We enjoyed being on the beach and was conveniently located near the Julien State Park.

Forgotten Shores provided us with another wonderful get away as My Hideaway was a great unit for our 12 night stay. They are our go to rental agency on the island. Accurately described and well stocked, we were able to take in the beauty of Saint George Island in a relaxed and stress free environment. 300 Ocean Mile is an older but well maintained community with easy access to the beach. We have rented here many times through the years and plan to continue doing so. Covered parking is nice but can be tight with large vehicles. BJ’s Pizza, Blue Parrot, and BigFish food truck were really good food options when we decided to take a break from my cooking.

My husband and I had a wonderful long weekend at the property for the Seafood Festival. We enjoyed the proximity to Apalachicola, but we also wanted to be close to SGI and the beach. The property was well stocked and had everything we needed. We will definitely stay again in the future.

I always vacation on St George for my birthday and thoroughly enjoyed my stay. I have used Forgotten Shores to book my stay the past few years and they have always been so helpful and kind. The condo was well stocked and so homey and had everything I needed for my week. Will definitely be back!

We were celebrating our 50th Anniversary! We had never been to St George! We absolutely loved our stay!! Our townhouse was cheerful, clean, and comfortable! We loved the pool and just a minute walk to the beach!! We could sit on our back porch and see and listen to the ocean!!

The property was in a great location just minutes away from the busy area which to me I enjoy the peaceful atmosphere. The property was very clean and well maintained. We were close to the beach and the pool area which was a plus since we had our 2 grandchildren for 1/2 the week with us. We enjoyed every minute and had one of the best vacation experiences in a long time. We hope to come visit again soon.

My husband and i stayed a week at My Hideaway for a get away. The home was the cleanest I've ever seen. Made it so comfortable to be in. You could tell everything was sanitized. All the comforts of home were provided. That bed... omg, that bed is so comfortable. Cooking was easy with everything possible supplied. Relaxing on sofa with pillows and large tv with all the channels. Some beach items were there. Chairs and small cooler. Pool was amazing with good lounging. Recommend to go across the bridge and get bag of fresh oysters and cook them poolside on the grill. Amazing time with the sound of the ocean. Very short walk to the beach. Not crowded. Very slow paced. Not touristy at all. I felt safe. Set up our tent on the beach in the morning. Could leave it to eat lunch and not worry that anyone was gonna bother it. We had breakfast and lunch in the condo and went to dinner most every evening. But could cook gormet meal in that kitchen. The only thing i would wish was provided would be a throw blanket for the sofa. We loved this condo and St George Island. We will be back.

Booked our stay here to be with and near to my son his wife and my grandson. 4J is the ticket for a pleasurable stay at the beach. The accommodation from the bedroom to kitchen and living area were top notch comfortable convent and accessible. The charcoal grills next to the pool are very good and adjustable for the wind. I like to grill. Beach time is the best, not crowded laid back and people are for me very friendly not 30A’ish. Been there done that. The pool is convenient and same holds true with the people there, some owners who are anxious to see that your time on St George and Apalachicola are enjoyable from restaurants to sights to see. If you bring your bikes you’re near the state park and that ride all the way through the RV camping area round trip is 12 miles of scenic pleasure. If you really like to ride to your left is the rest of the island with lots to see and do as well . J4 is a great unit and communication with management is very good. My prayer and hope is that St George stays like it is, it’s such a relief and rejuvenating experience.

Have stayed at My Hideaway many times because it’s perfect for just the two of us and away from the busiest part of the island. Location in the complex is very private yet still allows easy access to the pool or beach.

Wir haben uns wohl gefühlt. Es war alles vorhanden und sauber. Es gab sogar 2 Fahrräder und strandstühle. Zwar sehr rostig und in keinem guten Zustand, aber das war nicht schlimm. Schlimm war die Baustelle vom ersten Tag an. Die Dächer der umliegenden Häuser wurden erneuert, was mir viel Lärm verbunden war. Egal, ob im Haus, am Pool oder dem Strand. Ständig wurde gehämmert, gebohrt etc. Am nervigsten waren die piep Geräusche, wenn die Fahrzeuge rückwärts fuhren. Man fährt sehr weit, um eine ruhige Insel zu buchen und dann das. Leider hat das den Urlaub sehr beeinträchtigt

We we had a wonderful week at My Hideaway J4. This is the fist time we've come without our whole family so we needed something for just the two of us, this townhouse was perfect! Great location, less than a 5 min walk to the beach. Surrounded by beautiful well maintained grounds ans pool. The pool was really nice. Great view of grounds and pool from our balcony, enjoyed meals out there often. The bed and pillows were amazing and very comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking utensils, cookware and bakeware, however not a cooking supply (salt, pepper oil) in site. I know this is advertised or required but this is the first rental we've stayed at in SGI without those things. The a/c is also very loud when kicking on and off, but did work well throughout the unit.

We would definitely stay here again as well as possibly different units in the complex. Very quiet and peaceful, hated to leave.

We had two very minor appliance issues but Forgotten Shores fixed them quickly and efficiently with kindness! We have stayed with them before and highly recommend the company.

So wanted to love this condo unit, which was so cute. It has everything you could possibly want, except a decent bed sadly. Both of us were not able to enjoy our time as much as we had anticipated because of the tropical storm weather upon arrival, so we thought why not enjoy sleeping in that first night. My husband never complains of back problems but actually tried switching the mattress around from foot to top, come morning. That did no good. I actually took pain medication to try to sleep on this killer bed and finally bunked out on the couch. Another person had reviewed this property and pointed out how awful the bed was, but I ignored their advice as I usually find that there is always a complainer among all of the good reviews. I wish I had heeded their warning and booked elsewhere in that complex. It was our anniversary, and we were looking forward to a great time at a great location on the beach. I truly hope the owner gets a new mattress or at least a mattress topper as this one is just plain worn out! Please take my advice.

It was a wonderful week on St George Island. The property management company tied for best among those we have used during our various vacation travels! The living room couch was not extremely comfortable, likely because it was a sleeper sofa, but the bed was very comfortable. We would stay in this rental again. Everything was clean and bright, and it was in a great location.

Beautiful accomodations! Perfectly appointed. Spotlessly clean. Worth every cent. I expressed several times how beautiful and enjoyable the place is. The description is completely accurate about everything the unit has and offers, and better in person than the photos. The condo provided the perfect amount of space for the two of us. Both decks provide oceanviews while sipping coffee, stargazing, or enjoying a meal. We had everything we needed to prepare/cook our meals every day. We especially enjoyed the patio grill area. Unit is a pleasant quick stroll to the beach. The seclusion of being one of the last property on the island and right next to the State Park made for a quiet, relaxing trip. The complex is quiet and people were friendly. The night sky was absolutely breathtaking, more stars than I've ever seen!! I only want to stay here when we return to St. George Island.

This property really raised my expectations for future vacations. It was clean and well-maintained. There were so many amenities. Since we flew in, I was so worried that we would have to purchase a ton of things and have to trash them when we left. I was completely wrong! Bug spray, kayak, chairs, umbrellas, towels, kayak, flashlights, they had it all! The absolute only thing I felt I "needed" that wasn't there was hangers.
I had great communication with the property manager as well. She was so polite, professional and accommodating!
Our favorite restaurant was BJ's Pizza. Second best was Beach Pit.
We climbed the lighthouse, that was a work out!! But it was fun and the view from the top is breath taking, lol, if you have any breath left from the climb that it!
Griffith Guide Service took us out to see the dolphins, and let me tell you... Captain Coble Griffith gave us the experience of a lifetime! He knew just where to go. I thought the dolphins were literally going to jump in the boat with us! It was so much fun!
Since returning back home in Missouri, I've done nothing but rave about our stay at Ocean Mile and our vacation on St. George Island.

The condo was wonderful. Packed with items for us to use during our stay, clean and very spacious for a 1 bedroom. A great community pool. My only comment would be to ensure there is cabinets space for the guests- there was a lot packed into the kitchen leaving small area for groceries:)

The condo was very clean, the bed was so comfortable and the pillows were soft, I slept like a baby every night. The kitchen has every appliance and gadget that you would need. It was a short walk to the pool and beach. I would definitely recommend this place.

We had a wonderful time exploring the beaches and spending time with our son. We took a break from the Montana winter and could not have picked a better place. We were steps to the beach and two beautiful decks that faced the ocean.

We were extremely pleased with the location. It was close to the town without being too close and a super short walk to the beach. Bed was comfortable and there is plenty of beach equipment & extra towels. Would recommend to anyone seeking a break from the world!

Our stay at J4 was wonderful! The condo had everything we needed. I have been going to St. George's Island and staying at 300 Ocean mile my entire childhood, but always stayed in condo's through other companies. Our experience through forgotten shores was very smooth, and I highly recommend! You will not be disappointed. They have all the bear gear, toys, umbrellas etc. They have extra beach towels, games, books, and more in the condo. All kitchen appliances you could need. Plenty of space and very clean upon arrival. We will definitely stay here everytime we come back from here on out if it is just my husband and I.

My husband and I have stayed in My Hideaway several times, and it has provided a great location on St. George Island. We love sitting on the deck and enjoying the view. This townhouse is perfect for a couple or small family. Property management communicates well and is easy to work with.

This was our first time at St. George Island and we loved it. If you want to getaway and just relax than this is the place for you.

The only slight complaint that we had was that we would've liked a lock from the outside on the back sliding door.

The property was exactly as described in the listing. Jamie at the rental management company was fabulous. We really enjoyed our stay and this nice condo.

We enjoyed our too-short stay at 300 Ocean Mile. Our unit, J-4, had everything we needed. We loved being so close to the beach and the state park, but "town" is really just down the road.
A glitch getting in - sticky keys on the keypad - was soon remedied by Jamie so no problem. Overall, we would happily stay here again

We have stayed at 5 different properties at 300 Ocean Mile over many years of visiting SGI ---- but this first stay at My Hideaway (J-4) with Forgotten Shores Properties, has reset the bar.

My Hideaway/J-4 is a fantastic 1-bedroom unit. Comfortable Bed. Immaculately Clean. Well stocked kitchen. Nicely decorated. Large HDTV. Every appliance available and in good working order.
In short, a perfect place to stay at SGI.

Beyond the incredible satisfaction with the unit itself, Forgotten Shore Properties is a wonderful group to book your reservation. They have a large portfolio of property options. Their website is very user-friendly and Jaime is extremely kind, courteous and responsive.

There is likely no better vacation rental company in the area and when combined with the cleanliness and comfort of My Hideaway --- there is really no reason to stay anywhere else, if you are looking for a 1-bedroom unit.
