Had a very enjoyable stay. The house is beautiful, very clean and well maintained. Amazing views of the beach. It was stock with everything and any thing we needed. Will definitely enjoy returning.

Nice unit; great service from Forbidden Properties

Forgotten Shores Properties is always a pleasure to work with, and so easy to get in touch with! The location of the home was wonderful, and the home itself was in good condition. There were a few updates / repairs that would be needed - but overall a really good experience!

We wanted a relaxing beachfront getaway that was within walking distance of the main spots on St George and that is exactly what we got. I had preordered a golf cart but it really wasn’t necessary. The Piggly Wiggly, the pizzeria, the ice cream shop, and the park were all within 0.3miles. My husband loved fishing on the beach everyday and my son loved chasing crabs at night. The back porch had the best views and breeze! We would definitely come back!

Loved our stay at Tangerine Dream. The little fenced in courtyard beachside was a wonderful. My only suggestion is updating sofas in living area. Also, mattresses in bedrooms need replacing.. Overall it is a great place. I would stay there again.

The place was as described (see photos). We had a good stay.
Pros: Clean, fairly well maintained, excellent location, great internet, excellent TVs, good mattress in MBR, good W/D, adequately equipped, excellent beach access
Cons: dated decor (1980s Tommy Bahama), TV in LR too high, needs replacement windows, needs more lighting in LR and reading lights in 2nd BR, needs new DW, well equipped kitchen but of lowest quality - could really use some upgrades.

The rental was spot on. Located on the beach within walking distance to shops and restaurants. I liked that it was dog friendly as well.

Everything was absolutely perfect. Nicest people, easy to get a hold of.
This house needs a little work. The couches are very outdated and old looking. I personally did not like the privacy panels on either side of the porch. The deck chairs definitely need upgrading. Top and bottom. But, the beds were comfortable the unit was clean and Fully equipped.
Bathrooms were extremely nice and comfortable. Definitely dark in the living room. I personally would’ve preferred a lighter look. The courtyard is fabulous. We did not bring a dog but Hadley, that would be perfect.
Overall a wonderful stay and we can’t wait to come back.

We come to SGI every year for our family vacation and stay at different places each time we come. We are never disappointed. I think the people that manage these properties truly care about what they do. When we needed something they responded immediately and made sure we were happy. We will continue our annual tradition. SGI is our home away from home!

We had the BEST time in SGI. This was my parents second Trip and my first. Tangerine Dream was truly a dream and the team was wonderful to work with. The voucher for beach supplies was amazing especially being there on arrival. The house was clean, had plenty of towels, kitchen supplies, hose on the second balcony to rinse off, spot to store beach supplies outside, boardwalk to beach. One thing I greatly appreciated was the light switches were all labeled. We enjoyed beach days, walking/biking around SGI. Tangerine dream is so close to everything you need restaurants, coffee, ice cream, beach stores, the lighthouse. Highly recommend.

Tangerine Dream was truly a dream! The house is in a great location with its own walkway to the beach. The Bach patio area is perfect for family game night. So clean and spacious.
Within a short walking distance to Island Espresso, Weber’s Donuts, Island Adventure ice cream and so much more.

We enjoyed this stay so much, and plan to come back again. It was easy access to the beach with gorgeous views from the balconies. So many beautiful memories made here at St. George Island with my family.

We booked a last minute trip for Mothers Day weekend and an early wedding anniversary. Tangerine Dream was such a cozy cottage in the perfect location on St. George island for my family. Obviously this home is just steps from the beach but also is walking distance to most stores, restaurants and a playground! This was our first stay in Tangerine Dream but we are already ready to book our trip lil back!!!

Lovely house, right on the beach, walking-distance to shops and restaurants - perfect location! Liked the view of the gulf from the upper deck. House was clean and well-maintained, however, there was no "jetted tub/shower" in the master bathroom as advertised online. Extra blankets were brought to the house very soon after we asked for them. In general, the managers were very friendly and polite over the phone. Loved going to the Piggly Wiggly for groceries and Sugar Kingdom for sweets! BBQ from Beach Pit and sandwiches & curly fries from Mango Mike's were good. Bike riding around (half of the) island was easy and fun. Would certainly recommend this property to others, and if it weren't for the lack of a bathtub (a family member needs a bathtub), would love to stay at Tangerine Dream again!

We liked our rental house. It was conveniently located to restaurants, stores and shopping. We especially loved the little store with fresh bread and cheese. The ocean was lovely, not crowded at all on the beach. We saw dolphins every day and a beautiful full moon every night. The local fresh fish trucks were great. We cooked in our house at least 4 nights.

Great relaxing vacation!
Tangerine Dream was perfect for our stay during the week of Thanksgiving. Roomy layout and perfect location. Couldn't have asked for better. Kitchen is well stocked.
Home could use more comfortable couches.

My experience with forgottenshores is always good, which is why I continue to rent through them. Tangerine Dream is a nice house and in a perfect location. It's one of the only houses with a deck and a fence on that road, which is extra nice. Everything about the house is nice, except the living room TV, which is slow and has a purple-hue. The main TV is so bad, lol. Not a fan of the living room colors, but it didn't bother me that much.

Besides that it was great and I'd rent it again in a heartbeat.

Tangerine Dream was great! The house was very clean. The location is awesome and within walking distance of everything. The kitchen was stocked with everything you could ever need. It would be nice to have a table of some kind out on the deck, but that didn’t take away from our vacation. We would definitely stay here again!

This was our second trip to this property and we were again extremely pleased with the condition of the rental, its cleanliness, the provided supplies and equipment. The house is in a perfect location, right on the beach, and also very close to local shops and eating establishments. The beach gear credit though Vay-K is yet another bonus to renting through Forgotten Shores. We also cannot say enough good things about Jamie and her helpfulness and prompt and professional responses. Best we've worked with, hands down.

Just perfect. Everything is within walking distance and amazing views from each balconies. sofa in the leaving room was uncomfortable.

Great week at Tangerine Dream!

We stayed in Tangerine Dream the week of Thanksgiving. The location is excellent. The views out the back patio doors and from the master bedroom are wonderful. We loved starting our day on the patio taking in the beautiful ocean and beach. You are in walking distance to both grocery stores, several restaurants and the light house which has a great view of the island. The kitchen is well stocked with cooking pans, dishes and utensils. Just remember to pack anything you might need because as noted they do not provide salt/pepper, cooking spray, etc... or it's an easy walk to the local store. Bikes can be include with the house and are an excellent way to explore the island and the state park on the east end. The is a nice bike path that runs the length of the island. The bedrooms and bathrooms are good sizes and mattresses were comfortable. I would have liked if each of the bedrooms had a throw or blanket. The temperature difference between the bottom bedrooms and the loft bedroom is very noticeable. In order not to sweat out those who stayed in the loft - we kept the heat on low or off. As a result, the bottom floor bedrooms became cold overnight and we would have benefitted from a blanket or extra cover. The only other issue and it is minor is that there were an abundant amount of lights not working. 2 in the living room, both lights over the stove top and one in the guest room and its bathroom. This is something the management company should be inspecting and updating before each new tenant checks in. We enjoyed our stay at Tangerine Dream & our first visit to St. George Island.

4 of us had a wonderful time at the Tangerine Dream. It was clean. It was extremely convenient to go everywhere we wanted to go. For the most part we had the beach to ourselves, and could enjoy it at the waterfront as well as from the 3 available decks. The only possible criticisms, though they didn’t detract from the enjoyment of our stay is that the exterior of the house could use a little maintenance and the boardwalk could have extended farther onto the beach like the rentals to the west of TD. 5 stars and kudos all around.

Another awesome and relaxing stay on St George Island. Rain or shine Tangerine Dream offers the best of St George. Awesome location and dog friendly. Every necessity provided and constantly maintained or upgraded.

The location of tangerine dream is excellent however, the property could definitely use a facelift on the interior as well as the exterior. The furnishings inside looked very cheap and not in good shape. The west side of the kitchen must be slanted because the dishwasher door would always be open and every time you opened the fridge door the freezer door would slightly open. We only found that out when our food had thawed out. We loved St. George Island and the location of this property but would not stay in this home again.

We found Tangerine Dream to be exactly as advertised. It is updated and beautifully appointed and you are right on the beach. The property was very clean and generously supplied. In addition, there are a lot of extras in terms of kitchen and entertainment items. The "sheltered" deck on the top level also gives you more privacy as compared to other properties in the area. The lower deck appears to be new and is enclosed, which is helpful for those traveling with a dog. The provision of beach gear through VayK Gear was another real plus. We could not have been happier with Tangerine Dream, and in fact, have already booked our stay for next year.

Everything was a pleasure

We wanted to explore a new beach and we thoroughly enjoyed everything about St. George. The rental property, the customer service and communications and the amenities were perfect. It was a very easy, uncomplicated process! The people on the island were very friendly and pet friendly!

Great location. Lots of stair climbing, mechanical items need attention, cookware not clean, broken shelves in fridge, water heater throwing breaker switch, etc. Owners need to do better...

We had a difficult trip getting to Florida (won’t bore you with the details) so we needed some extra recommendations, blankets, and the like. Jamie was there for us. Can’t say enough good things. She helped turn a hard trip right around for us!

Second, the property was clean, close and comfortable. It was better than it looked on the listing (which is usually not the way it goes). All the beds were very comfortable (not common either). Everything was ready when we arrived. Kitchen was fully equipped. All the TVs and DVD players worked great. A/C was great. Three bathrooms with three showers gave us what we needed.

Last, the location and the neighborhood were excellent! We could walk to all the grocery stores, center stores and our personal favorite The Blue Parrot. We had one issue where teenagers were playing loud music by the park close by but Jamie, once again, took care of that for us too! She called in the local deputy and they quieted it right down. So not even that was an issue.

We did not have a rental car (part of that hard trip) but we didn’t need it. We had a car service pick us up and drop us off. We could go everywhere we needed. Mostly we enjoyed walking out the back and sitting on the beach using our VayKay gear. The property had boogie boards so we all were able to enjoy using those. There was a hose we could use to rinse our feet and gear when we returned. A walk way out to the beach made access ease. They thought of everything!

My wife and I, two Yorkies, and my 31yo daughter spent a week here. Very nice place! Updated décor is a big plus. Love the all tile flooring. Palm trees out the balcony were a great addition as well. WiFi was excellent and easy. Happy people and dogs all about...We will be back!

The house and it’s location was perfect. We loved every minute!

I would highly recommend this property. It was a unbelievable location and the house was everything it was described as. The rental management company was great to work with as well as they were very responsive and helpful.

St George Island and Tangerine Dream was a perfect tonic with the stresses of Covid 19. Tangerine Dream smelt so clean as we opened the front door - immediately felt comfortable. Home have everything needed and more. Jamie at Forgotten Shores is always great to work with and this was no exception. Couldn't have asked for a more relaxing week - already planning our next trip!

Great condo, furnished well & with amenities. We will definitely be back! St. George has recovered well from the hurricane. Some siding was still missing on this unit, but no problems inside. Had a great trip!!

We had a fantastic time at Tangerine Dream! The house is beautiful! Upon entering the home, there was such a clean, fresh smell! The aroma made us glad to be there. Each room was clean and well appointed. The beds were so comfortable! The house is really beautiful.

We were also pleasantly surprised by additional items in the home. We definitely plan to return. The views were exceptional- real on the beach access. Loved the gated fence for my fur babies! Jamie was a pleasure to book with!!

Was really better than expected and a great place for our long weekend!

After hurricane Michael, we had to change our reservations three times before having the good fortune of finding Tangerine Dream, with the kind help of the staff of Forgotten Shores! SOOO much better than the other two choices that had to be cancelled. We considered ourselves quite fortunate!
Our only suggestion would be an increase in and good review of kitchen cutlery and china for some needed updates. Otherwise beautifully appointed, quite cozy both inside and out.....Lovely little fenced garden on ocean side that far surpassed the other similar homes on that row.

The location was perfect. The house used to be really cute but there has not been much attention to it lately. There were multiple dead insects and little pieces of trash here and there in the house. The master bedroom bath had a lot of mold, we didn't use it. The bath upstairs, the sliding door was broken. But because of the location we enjoyed ourselves.

We had a very good stay here. The weather is a little unpredictable this time of year, but we had pretty good luck the week we were there. The house was clean and well equipped with everything we needed. Restaurants are few but we found fresh fish and shrimp from local vendors. The house was equipped with a beach umbrella and beach chairs and that is where we stayed most of the time. Great time.

This house was on the front facing the ocean so of course it was an excellent location. The house was reasonably maintained and clean. My only complaint is that the bathtub in the front (master?) bedroom was impossible for a big man to get into and fairly difficult for a 5’2” woman. Also no one in my group could figure out the shower turn on.

Overall this House was perfect for our needs: 2 couples, 1 child, and cousins right next door.

Love St George and "Tangerine Dream" is one of our favorite places to stay. Walk to shops and restaurants and just steps away from the beach makes for the perfect combination for our family!

We enjoyed our stay at this rental. The house was clean, but is older and needs some updates, like the living room couch. The exterior was pleasant, but not well kept as the photo shows. Needed yard work. The pool was very nice. The septic system has a loud pump in the carport area, but it wasn't an issue for us in the house. Enjoyed bike rentals.

It was perfect for our party of 8. Great location, just a quick walk to the beach. We loved the pool and the screened in porch on the front of the house. We would definitely stay here again! Thanks so much!
