We loved our stay at Ocean Mile J-13! Beautifully decorated, comfortable bed, easy access to the beach and a quiet complex. We would have liked directions on setting the ac system. It was programmed and we were scared to touch it! Too cool at night and too warm afternoons.

Only couple of minor issues: faucets drip and the kitchen faucet needs attention but overall a very nice unit and is very well kept. We have stayed here before and will certainly come back.

Awesome stay the place was just as advertised great access to the beach. The island is nice great for riding bikes or walking.

As always, our stay at J-13 was fantastic. It is a great unit, with complete furnishings and a kitchen well supplied. The corner location gives you greater deck space for sitting outside. It is the best location and unit at 300 Ocean. And Forgotten Shores is the best vacation rental group on the Island.

We enjoyed our stay at Picture Perfect. The condo served all of our needs...location, number of rooms, access to nature parks, restaurants, and grocery store. If not for cold weather it would have been a perfect stay. We would suggest having extra blankets available for those cold nights & in case a person wants to use the extra cot.

We loved our stay in Picture Perfect. The unit was in a great location, very close to the beach and pool. It was nicely decorated and clean. The only downside was internet and cell phone coverage was not good. We also did not care for St. George Island. It was overly developed, with not a lot of landscape. While we loved the condo, we would not return to the island.

Our 5th stay at 300 Ocean Mile J-13 was yet experience that cannot be matched. The unit is nicely decorated, fully stocked with everything one needs in the kitchen. It is among the best locations at Ocean Mile --- with a larger deck, as a corner unit. Jamie and her team are the best on the Island. J-13 is steps from the beach. STAY at J-13.

We had a great time as first-time visitors to St. George Island. What a beautiful place. J13 is at the very end of the island, next to the state park, which I loved since it was not busy at all. I ran and biked the state park every morning and it was just lovely. The condo itself was clean, well-appointed, and within steps to the beach. The deck and stairs need some TLC as some of the rails were split and all of it looked pretty weather-beaten. But, we spent most of our time on the beach, so it was fine. I loved the shower at the bottom of the stairs to wash off sandy feet. My only complaint would be the property managers...they were rude, unfriendly, and borderline scary. My teenage children did hop the fence to swim one night, so full-disclosure that it was entirely their fault, but they immediately left when I saw them, however the property managers followed them, and me, and would not let it rest even after a full apology. It was over-the-top to the point that I had to call Forgotten Shores because several of their comments crossed the line. We met several condo owners during our week there and they all echoed my sentiments- that the property managers need to go and act like lunatics, so there's that. But, we would stay again (and hopefully never see them) as it was a wonderful vacation, the condo was just right, and the location can't be beat.

We loved the location of the condo. End unit just steps to the beach. Very close proximity to St George Island State Park. We ended up setting up on the beach at the state park each day because you had more space to spread out. Beach area in front of condo was more crowded but not as bad as most beach areas. The condo complex itself definitely needs some outdoor maintenance but this specific unit’s inside was updated, clean, and very nice. I would not let the need for maintenance to the complex as a whole stop you from renting this unit. We appreciated receiving text from the rental agency that our condo was ready early. We’ve never had this happen with any other rental. Very nice gesture! We also loved the gear credit we received with our rental and rented bikes with it for the week. We rode bikes close to state park entrance to watch sunset each clear night. The state park is highly recommended. Climbing the lighthouse was fun also. This side of the island is less crowded and quieter which we appreciated.

We've stayed at 300 Ocean Mile nearly 10 times over the years. Several nice units, including many provided by Forgotten Shores. But J-13 is our go-to unit for us. The place is nicely decorated, always clean upon arrival, great location on the beach-side end of the J-Building. This provides a larger deck than other units. This unit has everything. Jamie is the best in the area. She is responsive, but that hardly needs to be called upon --- everything is already good-to-go from the outset. Would not stay anywhere else, if you're looking for a 1-bedroom beach accommodation.

Our third stay was again a great experience. We were happy to see that improvements have been made each year to the unit. We appreciated the addition of the combination lock. The new thermostat took some getting use to. Some instructions should be included in the unit about how to use this. We especially like the location of Picture Perfect on the beach Ocean end of the building providing extra natural light and the wrap-around deck. Ocean Mile is a well maintained and quiet community.

Picture Perfect is exactly that...perfect! Easy beach access, all amenities provided, comfortable bed (always a plus), comfortable living room, lots of natural light and a great deck for people and sunset sky watching! It was the picture perfect way to reset for a new year!

Perfection! That's the word that sums up our week at Picture Perfect. The house is appointed in perfect coastal decor, where it feels like a true home away from home and every room was spotless upon arrival. The condo is located just steps from the beach and it was very easy to maneuver between the condo and the beach area. We hope to stay here again when we visit SGI in the future. We also enjoyed the beach gear access below the condo and loved the fact that there is an actual deck versus sand for a floor as we noticed with many of the others. Made for ease getting chairs, umbrella and bikes in and out. The Beach Pit was one of our fav spots along with the freshest oysters from Lynn's Quality Oysters in East Point, just across the bridge - amazing owner!

Loved this rental! It was so modern with the cutest accents and features. Very clean and such a close walk to the beach. Have this place saved as a favorite for the future!

Great spot on beautiful long beach. Enjoyed all the amenities, and everything the island has to offer. Strongly recommended this destination and this "Picture Perfect" condo. Its location beside the State Park offered fantastic sightseeing opportunities during the long walks.

The new pillows are great. The kitchen is fully stocked. Sunrise and sunsets are amazing. The beach is literally 40 seconds from your deck. All the shops in the area are locally owned which makes for some great shopping. The art work from the local artists is incredible. A state park is right down the street. You can get there on the bike trail. Overall it's great place to relax and unwind. I highly recommend it. We will be back.

This townhouse was just as advertised! It was clean and well maintained. We had a great vacation that was peaceful and relaxing.

The condo was perfect for just the two of us. It was also nice to have a balcony that got sun both in morning and afternoon. The beach walkway was just a few steps away. We met alot of very nice people during our week stay. Definitely looking into renting again next October.

The process and service was great. The condo is adorable and clean. Perfect for a couple .I think the mattress in the bedroom has seen better days. Our overall experience was positive and we would rent again ! Be cautious on the beach we did encounter several sharks brought in by the fishermen..

We prefer to rent a home when we visit SGI because we like a little more peace and privacy than condo's usually provide; but this time of year, the Ocean Mile complex was fairly quiet and uncrowded. Jamie provided excellent customer service and was pleasant and helpful.

Gorgeous condo with easy access to beach and pool!

We have stayed at several 300 Ocean Mile properties for our post-Christmas trip, but none as nice and appealing as Picture Perfect (J-13). The unit was clean, nicely decorated and had everything one would need for a trip of any length. The unit is nicely updated, with features usually unseen in a small rental unit (e.g. chair-railing, crown molding, wood slat ceilings, etc). Another nice feature was the corner location, putting you closer to the beach, with a larger deck. Finally, Jamie and her team are extraordinarily accommodating --- kind, knowledgeable and professional.

We absolutely love this property and location. We bring our boat and it is convenient to Apalachicola and St George Island. You can be fishing in no time or be on the beach. It is a beautiful and peaceful location and the house is clean and comfortable.

My family and I had a great time staying at Cat Point Hideaway. The house was very clean and comfortable. The location was perfect and scenery was great. Enjoyed sitting on porch drinking our coffee in mornings. Our fur babies had plenty of room to run around and watching the squirrels. I would definitely stay at this home again. Thanks to the property management for making the check in and out so easy.

This is a modern home (it is for sale for $2m) in a great location. It faces the bay, has a nice screened porch, a nice oak-lined driveway and a large mowed yard with a pond that sometimes apparently has a gator or two. There are a lot of stairs but the railings are strong and our group (we are in the 70s and low 80s) did manage them well. If you ask, Forgotten Shores will help you with your luggage and that was appreciated. Easy to communicate with them. The housekeeper does need to provide more hand soap pumps and toilet paper. We ran out of the former and ran low of the latter. Located at the bridge to St. George Island it is a lovely place to vacation. Would stay there again.

We were a family of 12. Very comfortable! We had the best time on the bay watching sunsets and sunrise. We brought khakis and the guys loved fishing. Short drive across the bridge to beautiful beach’s.

As we turned down the dirt road we were greeted with a place better than we anticipated.
Every couple had their own room, there was plenty of space for our nightly dinners, the screened in porch was perfect for late talks without worrying about mosquitoes, the dogs had ample room to play outside, the home provided us with a bike rental and corn hole set which we used daily. We took daily bike rides to the pier and nature preserve to the left and right of the property. We even saw a black bear, bobcat and eagles.
We had one unforeseen problem with the refrigerator during our stay and the property managers resolved it immediately replacing the refrigerator with a brand new one. They were extremely communicative and responded immediately.
If you are looking for a place to completely get away and unplug from the world, this is the place. We loved our stay and would book again.

Great house to stay...we rented the house as we had events between St George Island, Eastpoint and Apalachacola...perfect place and had everything we needed...They even allowed us to leave our things in the house at 3 as we had a meeting to only suggestion is that there needs to be some extra bath towels for guests. Otherwise the property and staff gets an A+

The house was very comfortable and well stocked with kitchen supplies. Loved being able to have our dogs and a private beach area to walk them Beautiful sunrise views over bay. Really great spot for a family vacation! I highly recommend this place.

More enjoyable than we could have guessed !! Cat Point Hideaway is actually perfectly located. For access to both St George Island and Apalachicola. Being in Eastpoint , with the aspect of privacy and idyllic quietness was delightful.

My family and I enjoyed our week at Cat Point Hideway. House was comfortable, spacious, nicely furnished and had a great private site with easy access to St George Island and Appalachicola.

We four older women were unanimous in our feeling that this rental home exceeded our expectations, especially its unusually scenic location in a large private area speckled with live oaks, festooned with Spanish Moss. It faces the bay, beyond which is St. George’s Island, a very easy 5 miles across a causeway to its soft white sand beaches. The bay in front is backed by beach grasses and trees, absolutely beautiful, and there is a
sub-tropical forest pond out back. There is no such thing as a room with a bad view, though our hang-out room was the delightful screen porch in front (with open deck in front of it). The bedrooms were large, with big windows, great sheets etc.. The kitchen was very modern, and well supplied with table- and cookware, but do bring ALL of your own edibles and extra paper products. Every room has a TV, if you want, and the stairs to the second floor are full-width (rather than attic-type challenging) with hand-rails. We loved it, and we will come back next year, the first annual site we have chosen to return to.

The other huge plus is the wonderful town of Apalachicola, just over another 5 mile bridge to the west. It is a real treat. Between it, Eastpoint itself, and also St. George’s Island, there are splendid choices in places to eat, but do not miss very nearby Lynn’s seafood in Eastpoint, on the water.

What would i wish to be different? The bathroom lay out could be better (those using the upstairs bunk room would need to use either the upstairs main bedroom’s en suite bathroom or the powder room downstairs). The mattress in the NE corner downstairs bedroom is way too soft for anyone with a bad back. It would be a bonus if basic condiments were there (a very trivial wish, reflecting our pleasure overall!). It would be nice if it were easy enough for old ladies’ fingers to open the hot tub’s lid safety latch (we therefore didn’t use it).

Most important,

As a family that typically goes to 30A this was such a refreshing break. Slow pace. No traffic. Great cheap, fresh seafood minutes away. We had oysters every night. We rented a pontoon (minutes away) for the day and went out to Dog Island.

The house was great for our 3 families and two small dogs. House is equipped with everything you need and room to spread out on the property. Hot tub was perfect for the time of year we went after coming back from paddle boarding and kayaking. Could see coming back here again soon.

As an addendum to my prior “outstanding level” review of Cat’s Point (at Eastpoint, FL) , THAT review cut off before i had finished my important sentence starting with “most important” to have been followed by the fact that the rental agent Lindsey, was purely, totally terrific. We re-booked at the last minute to Cat’s Point after Hurricane Ian demolished our prior rental on an island offshore of Ft. Meyers, and from the moment I first called, Lindsey worked with me to smoothly reserved Cat’s Point. She exchanged MANY phone calls and texts with me, each time wholly helpful and informative, often spontaneously anticipating extra information i might want (which I did), and providing it. This was true all the way along. When we were there she dropped by with a gift of locally prepared ground coffee, itself a treat of this amazing region of Florida. I cannot speak highly enough of my help received from her throughout. We have booked again next year, partly because of that experience working with her, and aware of how that eases the way. Bravo to those who made sure she is the interface with Cat’s Point and travel planning. Thank you so much, Lindsey. We are very grateful to you.

Everyone enjoyed the beach house, well planned home, with good accommodation and a nice view of the bay. The bay water was not clear, and the beach sand was littered with mussel shells. The previous trash had not been removed upon arrival,
and was never picked up while we were there. There was an overflow of garbage when we left.

Great place to stay. We loved the location, our family loved this property. The house was very clean and spacious. Plenty of room to spread out. We had 5 adults and 1 teen and 2 pups. Was nice to be able to fish the bay right from the beach in the back yard. Beautiful home. We’ll maintain had everything you would need for a comfortable stay. Very close to all local restaurants and shops.

We regularly visit the Panhandle /Carabelle area of Florida. This time we decided to bring two dogs and the WHOLE family because my oldest son was proposing to his girlfriend. This was the best place and the trees and water made the perfect backdrop for pictures. Fishing was fun and the house was relaxing. I am completely on board with visiting here again. Close to many good places for seafood and more fishing.

This is a great secluded and quiet place close to everything nearby (Apalachicola and SGI). The fishing pier is a short walk and the property is adjacent to a protected estuary. The wildlife viewing (dolphins, osprey, blue heron, fish, etc.) was abundant and the sunrises (and a couple moonrises) were unforgettable.
