We had another great stay at Sun Goddess. Perfect location close to restaurants, grocery stores, and right on the beach. It’s always really clean and Forgotten Shores does a great job of responding to questions. Looking forward to next year.

This was our 4th year staying at Sun Goddess. It's always like coming home! Everything we need is there (along with some updates this year) and you just step off the porch onto the beach. Looking forward to next year already.

This was our second time to stay in Sun Goddess and we were not disappointed. Great location, very clean and well kept. One very minor issue with a faucet was handled very professionally within a couple of hours. We could not have been happier with our stay!

We real enjoyed sitting on the balcony and listening to the waves and watching the gulf. The house was clean and well stocked with everything we needed to get started with. Can’t wait to return.

Wonderful stay

We had a lovely week in Florida! This is the second year we’ve stayed at the Sun Goddess, and we love its location. It is very easy to get to stores and restaurants. The beach and water are great - safe, not overly crowded, etc. We rented chairs from Forgotten Shores and this worked smoothly. While the management company responded quickly to our call about a malfunctioning toilet, issues with the ice machine, and a broken bench, it was disappointing to not see the property upgraded in any way since the year prior. Overall, the house is dated and showing some physical signs that renovation is needed (some mold around vents, very stinky fan in main floor bathroom, older furnishings), and while this didn’t prevent us from staying for the second time, I’m not sure we’d stay here again.

Perfectly located with easy access to beach. There were a few cosmetic issues such as mold in master bathroom, the Picnic table benches are rusted and one bench is dangerously to sit on. The outside shower knob flew off and water was pouring out but maintenance did respond quickly to fix the problem. We also left a pair of Air pods and sent the host a message but they never responded back. But we did have an awesome time and will be returning to the area.

We had a great stay at the Sun Goddess vacation rental. The place was very well kept and clean, my wife always wipes everything down when we arrive and she was very pleased at the cleanliness of the residence. We would not hesitate to book this rental again, the area was close to shops and restaurants, and was exactly what we needed to get away for a few days.

What a gorgeous place to celebrate our anniversary. The home is well stocked and beds are comfortable. We loved the porch swing while having coffee and watching the dolphins play.Easy to walk to shopping and restaurants.

Absolutely loved this location. We walked everywhere including a donut shop, coffee truck, t-shirt/beach shop, Paddy's, Mango Mike's, BJ's Pizza. Plenty of space for two adults, two teens and two kids. Huge bonus was 3 full baths so we had 3 showers. Directly on the beach and the two back porches are great. Steps from a playground where it looks like they are adding new basketball/pickleball courts. Will be back!

Another great stay at Sun Goddess. It has a great location, walking distance to grocery store, restaurants and right on the beach. It was clean and in great shape. The rental company is always extremely helpful. Already booking for next year.

This home is well maintained in general with up to date furniture and a roomy feeling in the living room. The views of the Gulf from most rooms is quite special. The kitchen is mostly well stocked. The owners of Forgotten Shores are beyond accommodating. Kudos to Jamie and John.

We enjoyed our stay at the house! Great location and the beach is amazing. The outside decks and furniture were great. The inside is a bit dated, but we had all the needed necessities and the beds were fine. Only 2 towels provided/bathroom - not ideal for a beach vacation with 6 people in one house. No swim towels provided which was fine but we had to buy some which was unplanned. I had a few questions and the property group responded very quickly and helpfully. Everything was clean and check in was easy. We would be happy to stay again!

The cottage was well equipped. Kitchen full stocked with everything ones needs. Thought it was odd no salt and pepper or left things like Sheeran wrap was there as most rentals leave this sort of things for next renter.
We had very high winds and the house was very noisy with banging outside . All in all good location and nice spot. Furniture could use a steam clean Beds comfortable

House was everything we needed. The location was wonderful being so close to everything. We had a problem with the front door lock not wanting to unlock. We called and they walked us through the fix right away. No complaints and everything was wonderful.

Place was clean and ready early, though we didn't arrive until later. My only complaints are that it was very very sparsely stocked. For a 5 night stay, I don't think we should have been required to buy toilet paper. Also, there were no oven mitts/pot holders at all and no metal spatula for the grill. It did have nice sharp knives, which is typically a fail for short-term rentals. This should come as no surprise based on the photos, but the neighbors are very very close. If you have a neighbor constantly taking conference calls on the back porch (like we did) it can get rather annoying. Thanks for everything. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.

Exactly as advertised and right on the beach. Very clean and walking distance to grocery stores, restaurants and shops. Excellent customer service. Highly recommend - we have already booked for next year.

Sun Goddess is in a great location and is attractively furnished. The porch/deck seating drew us to the property and was thoroughly enjoyed. We found the interior stairs connecting the living and sleeping levels to be very inconvenient. We are in our late 60s and early 70s. The tub in the master bathroom is a garden tub and there were no grab/safety bars to stabilize you as you enter/exit the tub. The property needs a thorough cleaning. The HVAC vent in the living area is very grubby. We appreciated the beach gear credit and used it for two wagons to carry our gear back and forth to the beach daily.

If you love the beach, this is a great location to walk out the back door and onto the beach taking in the sun and cool breeze.

We enjoyed our stay at Sun Goddess! This home was super clean, comfortable beds, kitchen had everything we needed, air worked great! The little park next door was perfect for walking our dogs; there is also playground equipment for young children. Within walking distance of The Blue Parrot as well as Weber's donuts! Of course, beachfront location was the best! We especially enjoyed the porch swing in the mornings and evenings. I highly recommend staying here!

This was our second annual trip to SGI and we could not of been more happy. The Sun Goddess was absolutely amazing and everything we needed plus more. The follow up call the day after to make sure we were all settled in was a very nice touch. Morning coffee on the deck watching the dolphins. Afternoons swinging on the second deck. Walking distance to the restraunts, stores and ice cream parlor. Definitely talked about our next stay at the Sun Goddess and how everything was just what we needed.

We love the location. It's beachfront, which we love as we can sit on the balcony and enjoy the ocean when we're not actually on the beach Very cozy and inviting.

This was our second time visiting Sun Goddess. We were very pleased with the house and our interaction with Forgotten Shores. There was a minor issue with the hot water heater; I had not bothered to report it to Forgotten Shores but they reached out to me, presumably based on previous guest feedback. They were able to get plumbers out in a day to fix the hot water (John even found us on the beach to ask to allow the plumbers entrance, because my phone was on airplane mode). Will definitely continue to use Forgotten Shores for our annual SGI visits, and likely continue to return to Sun Goddess. Our one heads up to future guests would be there is a relatively limited selection of cooking utensils (no wooden spoons, metal spatula etc), and there is no supply of any basic spices at all (salt/pepper etc). I would absolutely recommend this property to any friends or family - central location walkable to Blue Parrot, Weber's Donuts, The Lighthouse, BJ's Pizza, and Paddy's Raw Bar with live music. Don't miss out on the seafood truck (and crab cakes) that sets up right across the street.

We had a great stay at Sun Goddess. It was exactly as advertised inside with everything we needed. Right on the ocean and close to restaurants, grocery stores, and shops. Great customer service and best of all we were able to have our dog with us. Liked it so much I already booked it for next year.

The house was lovely and we enjoyed our stay. The decks have a fabulous view and the downstairs patio deck was wonderful for cooking outside. The one drawback was the water heater. The house sleeps 8 but only 1 person can take a shower and then have to wait about an hour for more hot water.
Overall the house was great though.

The location is great and you have stunning beach views including sunrise and sunset from the balconies. Close to shops and food. The Management company was very helpful and responsive including the day before a major holiday to help with a broken bed frame. For the price, I would have expected a more updated house. It was very outdated including poorly working toilets, bath fixtures, and door handles. It was clean but shabby. You are paying for the view and location but don't expect an upscale interior.

This dog friendly bungalow is a great option when staying on the island. It's perfect for a girls getway as we all have our private bedrooms and bath. The porches and views from this house is reason enough to rent here. Close to the lighthouse park, I always feel safe when needing to take the four-legged baby out for a late night walk.

This was our second stay at Sun Goddess. It was clean and in good repair, and we love the extended decks and the swing on the lower level. We discovered on our first night, there was no bottom sheet on the master bed. The next morning, we discovered the coffeemaker wasn't working properly. It was making coffee, but we had to coax it. I called Forgotten Properties. Not only was the woman I talked to friendly and appropriately appalled, she got to work right away. In 30 minutes, we had an entire set of sheets and a brand-new Keurig. Definitely a 10-star response! We will definitely stay at Sun Goddess again.

Our favorite feature was the outdoor shower! The openness of loft bedroom was a little problematic (no door or sound barrier). However, I realize that is the design of all the bungalows. Other than that, we had a perfect trip. We would definitely rent this place again.

We went to put up umbrella and the spindles were all broken. Housekeeping needs to check all items before next guest check in. I did speak to someone in office , which she wanted to correct it all but we were on the last couple of days of vacation. Overall, our vaca was wonderful & we would def rent again.

Our family stayed at the Sun Goddess and we were so pleased with it! The house was very clean and the location is perfect. Restaurants and the Light House are within walking distance. The kitchen is well stocked, the only thing was that there weren't many food storage containers if you want to cook and then keep your leftovers. Overall, our stay was peaceful and relaxing and we would absolutely stay here again!

This trip was for my 86 year old mother who LOVES the beach. Although she's not as mobile as she use to be, the view from the upper level and the proximity to the beach made it a wonderful trip for her!

The stay was amazing! Beach was great and not very busy! The air conditioner at the house worked amazingly! Absolute 10/10 stay!

This was our first visit to St. George Island and we now hope to make it an annual trip. The condo's location is perfect. Sit on the back porches and look at the ocean or take a few steps and sit on the beach. Clean, well-appointed, nice restaurants nearby...If you're looking for lots of activities this isn't the place. But if you just want a quiet and beautiful place to get away, this is it.

The home was very nice, beds comfortable and clean (exceptfor air vents). We loved the location. Unfortunately Red Tide was there during our stay and we couldn't use the beach, which was the whole point of our vacation.

We felt this house was perfect for our needs. The location is ideal, central to everything on the island. Enjoyed the short walk to the Blue Parrot for a fruity drink after a day at the beach, or an evening stroll for live music at Paddy's. The rooms were as described (I have rented other houses where the furniture does not match the pictures; not the case here). Perhaps the best example of their level of service - when I reached out on our first full day there to mention a few very minor issues in case there was an easy solution, Jamie responded within 10 minutes, and within the hour had driven through the rain of Tropical Storm Fred to solve everything. That alone ensured we would be renting from them again! In the interest of an honest review, as others have mentioned, there were still a few dust bunnies underneath some furniture. This was not a dealbreaker for us, as we understand it's an oceanfront beach house. Perhaps the only suggestion might be to provide a vacuum cleaner, to make cleaning up after the day's sand a bit easier. Otherwise, it was an ideal rental for us, and we can't wait to return!

Just what we needed! The house was perfect for my husband and I and our 4 children. Plenty of room for a family of 6. My husband and I loved the porch off the master bedroom. We loved the swing on that porch, used it every morning and evening. The house is in the perfect location. You can walk to everything you need. My husband would take the bike over to the grocery store to pick up whatever we needed. It was the most relaxing place we have ever been. We have stayed on 30A for almost 12 years. We are definitely looking forward to coming back to SGI.

You can’t beat the location of Sun Goddess, beachfront and close to the village Centre. This is our 2nd stay at Sun Goddess and 4th in one of these beachfront 3 floor homes. Jamie at Forgotten Shores is my go to for a stay at SGI, professional and accommodating plus anything needs fixing it’s done in a flash. I love the dog friendly beach, property and amenities...We will be back soon.

We had a great time. The home was beautiful and right on the beach. We loved the porches with the swing and picnic tables. The beds were comfortable. I can’t say enough about Forgotten Shores Property Management, Jamie is simply the best.

The house is in a great location. 5* for everything except there were some parts of the house that needed extra cleaning. We brought video game units for rainy days and when I found plugs for them, the underside of the furniture had not been vacuumed out. It was very sandy and dirty. I would not have noticed this I outside of looking for plugs. The house also had an area for beach gear at the bottom of the steps which other houses didn’t have. The outside shower needs a new shower head but this was not an inconvenience. I would recommend moving the table on the top deck and replacing it with chairs and a side table to have better views. I would highly recommend this property to friends.

Awesome as usual

Enjoyed our daily ocean walks on the beach. The sounds and ocean view were perfect from either inside or on either deck! The only disappointment was the unusual, cooler temperatures. Look forward to another visit!

Everything was wonderful, just like last year. The location is wonderful! Not only beachfront but the lighthouse is next door as well all stores are in walking distance! The house was well stocked for everything needed! Our internet & TV went off and Jamie addressed the problem within minutes and had it fixed the same day.

Stormy weather dampened our first few days; but when the sun came out we got to truly appreciate Sun Goddess. The house is in a great location, easy to walk for anything you need. House needs some love, like there was a missing cupboard door in the kitchen, but was generally fine. It is minimally stocked, so we had to run out and find some basics, like coffee filters.

The condo was clean, neat, not cluttered, comfortable. Sunrises on sunny days are spectacular. Fun to be able to walk to so many places in the heart of the island. Jamie was prompt in her responses to any questions or needs w e had. Excellent overall experience.

Life can move so quickly, that sometimes we miss the moments. Those moments of quiet reflection, of laughter, of time together - they are missed by the bustle of busy and the weight of work. The Sun Goddess was the perfect ending to a hectic year! We rang in the new year here and could not have had a better experience! The house was exactly as pictured. The weather was delightful. We played on the beach, walked to the restaurants, ride bikes and played basketball. As a family that likes to cook - we were amazed at the selection of cooking utensils. Beautiful sunrises were followed by days of relaxation and reflection. The beds were comfortable, the showers hot, the WiFi worked great and the island amenities were steps away. It was the perfect escape.

The house is in a perfect location and the views are amazing. Grocery stores are in walking distance. The house has everything needed and plenty of room for everyone! I would suggest that some of the pots/pans are being replaced, they not easy to cook with. We will return for sure!
