The house has everything you need. It was well stocked for making meals and enjoying the bay. The house was clean and spacious with a lovely sun room overlooking the dock and bay. My son loved the game room and screened in porch. Kayaks and a paddle board were also available. Very quiet and close to the state park and beach.

We stayed here numerous times under previous ownership. We were so happy to find it available for rental again. First let me say that Forgotten Shores rental agency is 6 star! Phenomenal...and we have rented many homes over the years with very good service. . House is well equipped and very comfortable .The nature view is awesome,we saw two eagles actually sitting on a sandbar out beyond the dock. This is a home to relax in...SGI is our escape from crazy season in Clearwater!It's good to be back to our favorite home in SGI! (We have also rented in Plantation and East End Bayside numerous times so we have a comparison) Thanks for opening the home to renting again.

1st time staying on the bay. We loved it. The house is the best of both. The bay is in the back yard and you have a private dock that’s in excellent condition with comfortable chairs. Watch gorgeous sunsets every night. The house is furnished with kayaks, life jackets and paddles. During high tide it’s pretty easy to launch right off your dock. The house is immaculate. It’s felt like home. Very generously furnished with everything you could need. Every room looks out to the bay! We only used the master bedroom but it was so comfortable. Whole house is very nicely updated throughout. Also it is right across the street from the beach. You just cross the not busy at all street and walk down a nice path. Beach is wide open and not crowded at all!

We absolutely love this home. It was clean and comfortable. The view is breathtaking, and the rental service was top notch. We will definitely stay here again.

Our family stayed at Shell Point for Spring Break, first week of April, 2023. The house is large and we had plenty of room. It was clean and well equipped. The weather was great and we enjoyed the beach. We ate dinner at Paddy's Raw Bar on the island twice! The food, service and setting was excellent. Visited the Island Dog; great gift shop! It was a great trip and we will definitely return!

This was a great place to go and just relax and live on island time. We spent a lot of time just sitting out on the dock and watching birds and fish jump. This was a great time of year to go weather wise. The week started off cool and ended sunny and hot. We didn't swim because the ocean was cool but we were able to get our feet in and get sunburned a little by the end of the week. Some things to note about this house, there are stairs. if you don't like stairs or can't climb them multiple times a day, this might not be the place for you. It was fine for us but I know my mother couldn't have come with us. The guest bed needs updated, the mattress was not a good one. The one time we used the kayaks was fun. Just know you will have to lug them down to the water and back after you kayak on the bay. So, it is very tiring. Hence the fact we only used them one time. That is really the only issues we had with this amazing place.

The island is great! The Piggly Wiggly had everything we needed and most of the restaurants were great. However, I would not even try Mango Mikes! The reviews are true. We were seated and workers passed right by our table at least 5 times without ever asking us our drink order. After 15 minutes we got up and went across the street to The Beach Pit and had an amazing dinner! BJ's Pizza is a must, the Blue Parrot is great and the little ice-cream shop is amazing as well. We got Webber donuts they are okay. I mean it wasn't worth getting up that early in the morning. Everything on the island is great.

Go into Apalachicola it is so worth looking around downtown but go early everything closes at 5pm. They have cute little shops and a great restaurant downtown on the corner.

Overall this house had everything we needed to cook and have an amazing week on St. George Island. We will rent again!

We loved our stay here! The views are lovely from the porches. We enjoyed going out in the marshy bay on the dock and watching the sunsets. The house was clean, spacious, and well appointed. The kitchen had every supply including a wine key and shucking knives. The kayaks, paddle board, and beach credit were very nice. The location can't be beat. Right by the park and very quiet. I spoke with the staff and they were very friendly and polite. We would love to return.

We had a wonderful stay. Forgotten Shores and home owner were very helpful and accommodating. The house was as described and clean. Location is great and private. The house had everything we needed and we especially enjoyed the kayaks that were provided. The bed was very comfortable. We loved sitting on the dock during the mornings and evenings. We had a wonderful time in this beautiful home on the bay with beach access across the street. We enjoyed spending the mornings watching the fish jump all over the bay inlet from the dock in the mornings and spending the afternoons watching the crabs on the beach. Spacious areas to relax after a full day in the sun and a fully-stocked kitchen made this a must-stay. The property manager was very accommodating, and we look forward to renting this home again.

This was a wonderful home to stay in. Great beach access. The views of bay were incredible, great place to kayak. Property was very clean and kitchen had everything we need to cook, we only ate out one time. Jamie and her staff are great to work with.

Shell Point was a great beach home if you didn't need to be right in the center of town. We were delighted with our bayside location and loved having a nearly private little cove of our own. The sunsets were majestic from the dock. This was a great area to use to the provided kayaks. The walk to the uncrowded beach was just a few minutes. We also loved being so close to the state park beach.

Oh my - what a place to stay! This house had everything we needed and so much more. Great folks to work with at Forgotten Coast too. The experience exceeded all expectations. Thanks for sharing this piece of paradise with us. We made so many wonderful memories.

Wonderful! Spacious and clean. Access to the bay side and its beautiful sunsets. Beach access just across the street. Also, located just down from the State Park where you can take long walks on the gorgeous beach without anyone around.

The bay is right out of your backdoor with a very nice dock to enjoy morning coffee! And the beach is easily accessible in less than 5 minute walk across the street. Very well appointed home and excellent owners to deal with. Reached out to accommodate us when we inquired about extending our stay. All we might needed and then some was available. A excellent reprieve from the blizzard like conditions back home.

The house was as described, clean and had a lovely bay view. This is an outdoor lovers happy place.We saw eagles daily on the bay. We rode our bikes to and in the state park with miles of undeveloped beach; we hiked in the park, and walked the miles of undeveloped beach for hours collecting shells.The kitchen was adequately stocked,but if you like to cook bring a few essentials such as knives-only sharp knife was a filet knife. We bought fresh fish daily and cooked wonderful meals every night The Piggly Wiggly Express was well stocked, friendly and had FRESH sea food. We did not leave the island. it was truly an adventure in respite care

We had a wonderful time at Shell Point. The most beautiful location with the bay and marsh steps away in back, and a very short walk on a sandy path out front to the Gulf! The home is expansive inside, very clean, comfortable and nicely decorated. The owners have given much thought to making the best of the property. We had morning coffe and afternoon cocktails out on the pier - gorgeous view. Fish jumping and sea birds galore. The beach was beautiful as well. Our agent, Jamie, is wonderful and always quick to respond! We would love to return!
