We are so grateful for our week at Forsythia. The home is so lovely and the views are breathtaking. Thank you for providing an escape that is so nature forward. That is really getting harder and harder to find! Everything was perfect and we can’t wait to return.

The house is amazing. Wonderful design and elegantly appointed (exactly as shown in the images). The top floor deck offers views of the bay for sunrises, sunsets, and stargazing. Perfect kayaking spot. Great walk to the beach. Quiet and peaceful retreat. Jamie, John and their team were great too!

We've been coming to SGI for over 30 years. This house by far was our favorite. This was our first experience renting through Forgotten Shores Properties and we were extremely please with their customer service and attention to detail. Will most definitely rent again.

The house, location, amenities and views were superb .

We had an amazing stay, the home was so well appointed and the kitchen was fabulous. It made for a great Thanksgiving day cooking experience.
There are a few things that need some maintenance. Also the hvac was extremely loud in the master bedroom.

We really enjoyed our stay. The house was very comfortable, functional, and clean. The property itself was amazing and very well maintained. The property management company was also fantastic to work with. And those views are incredible! Highly recommend this rental company and highly recommend this rental property.

Fabulous location on the bay! Very private, beautiful deck views, lovely home, attractively furnished. A quick bike ride to the beach.

We had a wonderful week at this gorgeous home. It's the perfect place, in the perfect surroundings, if a quiet getaway is what you are after. The property managers are a dream, and were always available if we had a question. We have already booked this home for next summer, and can't wait to return!

The location was perfection. The views are stunning. The house decor was comfortable and fun. The beach and pool were an easy drive. We had an exceptional time and would come back again!

We returned to Forcynthia because we love the location and beauty and activity and nature right out our door and hardly have to leave. It is very private and quiet. The house is more than adequate, clean, comfortable, spacious, functional.

The property manager provides excellent service and I would highly recommend this property. Our group was my wife and I with our two daughters and their families which allowed us all to spend time together during the after Christmas break. We had beach days both in the plantation and at the state park and enjoyed bike riding throughout the island. Pizza takeout from BJ’s the first night and a lunch meal at the Blue Parrot were our only restaurant ventures. This property has awesome views with opportunities for wildlife viewing.

This home was the perfect setting for our family gathering. The Plantation is an outstanding community in a natural setting providing a relaxing atmosphere with nature trails and beach access. It was the off season so very peaceful and quiet. The house had everything we needed for cooking and entertaining! We ordered bikes with our gear credit. That was a great way to explore the Plantation. The sunsets were outstanding! Love, love, loved it!

The house was exactly as advertised and everything was spotless when we arrived. The location is secluded and perfect for a family vacation with easy access to the beach and Apalachicola

This was our second stay at For-Cynthia. The property manager, Jamie, is outstanding! Incredible property with great gas range for lots of seafood cooking - looking forward to a return in the fall.

FORCYNTHIA did not disappoint our group and neither did the PLANTATION. All the details were accurate and the location was exactly as we expected. We have been spending Spring Break on SGI for over 30:years but had never rented a house or stayed in the Plantation. We thoroughly enjoyed both and will do it again in the future. We enjoyed the seclusion and the abundance of wildlife in the area. Eagles, osprey, herons, owls, and many other waterfowl were regular visitors. We rarely left the Plantation but did get take out pizza from BJ’s and also ate lunch at the Blue Parrot. I would definitely recommend Forgotten Shores Properties as well as our rental FORCYNTHIA.

Easy to book and home well appointed. The furniture is very comfortable, the location remote and the views are spectacular.

Overall our stay was great! The views are stunning as well as the house; very comfortable and beautifully decorated. We loved the location out on a very quiet point of the salt marsh. We really enjoyed taking the kayaks out in the marshes and my husband caught two red fish right at the mouth of our canal. There were a few minor issues with the refrigerator and beverage fridge but the property manager was very helpful and responsive. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and look forward to renting it again!

Forcynthia was the most beautiful home I have ever stayed at. The owners have built a paradise. Everything we needed was there and it was spotlessly clean. Never stayed on the bay side but the views were beautiful. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

This place is a must see! The views are breathtaking from every window and porch. I cannot describe how amazing this house is!

This is a wonderful house we could not have imagined anything better. The house was immaculate and looked brand shiny new, the bedrooms were large and light came pouring in from all directions. The main living area is stunning, spacious with views of the sun rise and sunset. the decor and furnishing were elegant and of the highest quality. The upper deck held 270 degrees of amazing bay views and again spectacular sunsets every night and sunrises each morning. the white sand beach is just a short walk and the clubhouse pool was perfect. We throughly enjoyed every second of our stay and have already booked our next stay. Although the house was not lacking anything the property manager Jamie was always available if we needed anything
