Enjoy expansive Gulf views from the multiple decks of this 4BR/3.5BA pet-friendly beach house (Large Dog Friendly! Allows up to 2 well-behaved dogs and requires advance approval and pet fee). This well-equipped home has something for everyone!
Relax into the softly hued top floor living area with comfortable seating and large, flat screen TV and DVD player. The large kitchen features stainless steel appliances, dedicated panty, large breakfast counter with additional seating and plenty of space for multiple chefs. The dining table can seat up to 10 with additional dining on the screened-in porch. The covered and furnished deck with daybed swing is the perfect spot to enjoy the sunrise and vast water views. The top floor Master bedroom has a King sized bed, deck access, TV and private bathroom with double vanity, jetted tub and separate, tiled roll-in shower.
Downstairs you’ll find an additional TV space with Queen sleeper sofa and access onto a furnished covered deck with daybed swing overlooking the Gulf of Mexico and private pool. The first of 3 bedrooms on this floor has a Queen sized bed, twin bed w/ trundle pull out (2 twins), TV, access to the covered deck and a private bathroom with double vanity, jetted tub and roll-in shower. The bunk bedroom has two tall bunks (4 twins), TV and deck access. The last bedroom has a King sized bed, TV and access onto the covered deck. A large shared bathroom at the end of the hall features a double vanity and roll-in shower.
Additional amenities include multiple decks overlooking the Gulf of Mexico or the main road, Gulf Beach Drive, a laundry room with full size washer/dryer, main floor half bath and elevator. This home is handicap-friendly with elevator servicing each floor and accessible bathrooms but please note there is no wheelchair ramp available at exterior doors.
Challenge family and friends in a game of yard-sized Jenga and Connect-4 or simply relax in the sun or the shade of the under-house lounge and entertaining area with hot tub. Unwind in the evenings around the firepit or take a dip in your own private pool.
Outdoor features include a covered grilling area with propane grill and 2 single park-style charcoal grills, fish cleaning sink, enclosed hot/cold outdoor shower, shaded and private lounge area with hot tub, fire pit, poolside sundeck and private swimming pool with pool heat option for a $400 fee.
The vacant lot in front (beachside) allows for expansive Gulf views and easy access to a nearby sandy beach path for a quick 2 minute walk to the water. A community beach boardwalk and off-street parking can be found at 8th Street.

Barefoot Chic is a beautiful home! I loved the blue & green beachy decor throughout; it was so tranquil & relaxing. The location, decks, & pool were perfect for our family. Enjoyed the property,it’s beautiful surrounding scenery and comfort. Drawback’s for our family and pets, sand spurs on property where we had to traverse to the beach. Our family stayed here the week of July 4th and it was a remarkable week. The private pool, the hot tub, close access to the beach, all made this house FUN! The house was well stocked with kitchen utensils and appliances! Very clean and roomy! The elevator was essential for my senior mother! We would of liked a backyard access to walk over to the the beach instead of having to go all the around on the road. Overall, this was probably our favorite house that we've rented over the last 6 years of coming to SGI.

My family stayed for a week at Barefoot Chic. It was fantastic. Clean,spacious,nicely furnished and comfortable beds. The kitchen was fully stocked. Everyone loved the backyard space, pool,firepit and shaded area. I have to add Forgotten Coast was great. Thank you for sharing your home. Woul derent again.

We loved our stay at Barefoot Chic! Two adults and 4 teenagers. The house layout was perfect! We had plenty of space to spread out when we needed to and plenty of spaces to hang out together. So many options for outdoor living between the decks and the porches and the ground level. Pool and hot tub were wonderful. Big dining room table and screened in porch table for meals. Short walk to the beach. Easy golf cart ride or walk to restaurants and shopping. Beds were so comfortable. We loved our week at Barefoot Chic!

Barefoot Chic was great! Inside was clean, very comfortable beds, pool deck with hot tub was fabulous and proximity to beach was great. Golf cart district was a plus!! In addition, we visit SGI twice a year and Forgotten Shores was amazing to work with, they went above and beyond to work with me on last minute reservations.
Very nice spacious house in great location. Kitchen was well equipped and home had lovely spaces to enjoy outside with screened porch and several covered decks. We enjoyed the clean pool even though it was a little cold weather wise. Our dogs were happy too and especially liked the top deck for sunning and watching the activities.
