Barefoot Chic

Barefoot Chic is a great, centrally located rental house! It’s close to restaurants and stores, but not right on top of them. Truly a perfect location! There were 6 adults in our group, and the layout was excellent. I have a spinal cord injury, and the elevator was a necessary amenity for me. I appreciated the grab bar in the shower as well. It was wonderful to find a pet friendly place and also a swimming pool to relax in each day. The beach access was super easy and close, as well. I rented an electric beach wheelchair from Wheels in the Sand (book as early as possible), and it was delivered promptly. It handled the sand like a dream! We ate at many restaurants while there including The Blue Parrot (get there early for dinner~ my blackened scallops were really good!), The Beach Pit for breakfast (French toast!) and dinner, Harry A’s (Great stuffed shrimp!), Paddy’s (Best oysters we had), Weber’s Donuts (Get there 30 min or more before opening~ our visit was in mid August and many schools had already resumed, and we still waited in line for 30 minutes. Well-worth the wait, though!!) Definitely get ice cream at least once if not daily at Aunt Ebby’s. The scoops are huge and I loved trying various flavors in a waffle cone! Lastly, we enjoyed the light house, the museum, the state park, lazy days at the beach, and seeing the area. We drove to Carabelle, Appalachicola (twice!), Cape San Blas, Port St Joe, and Panama City. We had a really great time and hope to come back one day!!

Barefoot Chic was a beautiful home with all the amenities you required and more. My family could not have asked for a better vacation home. It was laid out perfectly for both the children and adults. The children had an amazing time and the pool was a wonderful end to a day at the beach. I literally don't have one negative comment.

This was a great vacation rental. House was beautiful, very clean, and spacious. The kitchen is on the third floor, which initially concerned me, but the elevator made bringing in supplies a breeze. The kitchen was very well stocked with pots, pans, etc. A beach access point is immediately across the street and was just a short walk. We had three families staying, and everyone felt like they had privacy and their own space.

Very nice spacious house in great location. Kitchen was well equipped and home had lovely spaces to enjoy outside with screened porch and several covered decks. We enjoyed the clean pool even though it was a little cold weather wise. Our dogs were happy too and especially liked the top deck for sunning and watching the activities.

Barefoot Chic is a beautiful home! I loved the blue & green beachy decor throughout; it was so tranquil & relaxing. The location, decks, & pool were perfect for our family. The house was immaculate clean. Jamie was a great help as always with the booking process. 2nd booking of the year with this company. Would highly recommend Barefoot Chic & Forgotten Shores Properties.

Enjoyed the property,it’s beautiful surrounding scenery and comfort. Drawback’s for our family and pets, sand spurs on property where we had to traverse to the beach. Even the ,enclosed area had sand spurs all around the fire pit area. We will visit forgotten shores again. Overall property is as represented. Thanks

Our family stayed here the week of July 4th and it was a remarkable week. The private pool, the hot tub, close access to the beach, all made this house FUN! The house was well stocked with kitchen utensils and appliances! Very clean and roomy! The elevator was essential for my senior mother! We would of liked a backyard access to walk over to the the beach instead of having to go all the around on the road. Overall, this was probably our favorite house that we've rented over the last 6 years of coming to SGI.

My family stayed for a week at Barefoot Chic. It was fantastic. Clean,spacious,nicely furnished and comfortable beds. The kitchen was fully stocked. Everyone loved the backyard space, pool,firepit and shaded area. I have to add Forgotten Coast was great. Thank you for sharing your home. Woul derent again.

We loved our stay at Barefoot Chic! Two adults and 4 teenagers. The house layout was perfect! We had plenty of space to spread out when we needed to and plenty of spaces to hang out together. So many options for outdoor living between the decks and the porches and the ground level. Pool and hot tub were wonderful. Big dining room table and screened in porch table for meals. Short walk to the beach. Easy golf cart ride or walk to restaurants and shopping. Beds were so comfortable. We loved our week at Barefoot Chic!

The staff was amazing and very accommodating.

I absolutely loved this property!!! This home is equipped with everything you need. The beds were so comfortable and the home so clean. I would go back for vacation every year if possible.

This house was by far the best rental we’ve had at St. George. Great location, fully stocked kitchen, very clean and had the most comfortable beds. We’ll definitely be back!!

Barefoot Chic was great! Inside was clean, very comfortable beds, pool deck with hot tub was fabulous and proximity to beach was great. Golf cart district was a plus!! In addition, we visit SGI twice a year and Forgotten Shores was amazing to work with, they went above and beyond to work with me on last minute reservations.
